San Francisco
Cable Cars & China Town Photo Walking Tour
2.5 - 3 Hours
Start on the California Street Cable Car as it rolls down the hill towards the bay viewing the varied landscape between the city and the bay. Stop to visit the Cable Car Museum and learn about the cable car’s interesting past. Then back onto the cable car route for street photos from the most photogenic intersection along its hilly route.
Next, it’s onto China Town, a community inspired during the 1848 gold rush. We will begin at the Dragon Gate and walk up Grant street. Let’s take some side streets and explore the historic stores and hidden alley ways for a peek at some secret gems. While taking pictures of the colorful sites and unique street scenes we will practice street photography and cityscapes. Maybe stop for a taste of China’s special flavors.
